Hub City Central Model Railroad Club
ABOUT US
Our club was started in 1982 with just about 30 interested individuals that shared an interest in model railroading. Meetings were held in the Beebee Forum Room of the Marshfield Library. As interest in the club grew, we moved into a clubhouse on Central Ave. in September of 1991. From the beginning we attending train shows in various areas of Wisconsin. In 1999 we moved to a new club house. We added DCC controllers to our layout.

The clubhouse is located at 2001 S Central Ave Suite B, Marshfield, WI The layout is set-up there when note traveling with the layout to shows. We have regular meetings there. (See Events tab)
The layout cosist of 4 foot sections. Different members take on the task of detailng each of thes sections. We work together to transition scenes.
Members own their own train engines and cars that are ran on the layout. They also share ideas on detailing cars.
Real credit to keeping the initial idea of the Club going rests on the shoulders of two members who have passed away, the late John Ruple, M.D., and the late James O. Hasz. Only Keith Meacham and Gene Greenwald remain as founding members of the Club from 1982.
